YETI sweden
is a youth hostle called "Krusboda Fritidsgard".
"Krusboda" is the neighbourhood and "Fritidsgard" means youth hostle.
Tyresö is the name of our community and it's a suburb to Stockholm. The young people who
are spending their spare time here are in the age between 13 and 18 years old. We try to
offer as many activities as we can during the week. We also have a lot of
"groups": A "skiing/snowboard" group wich recently came back from a
trip to the swedish mountains, A "skateboard group", A lot of "rock
groups", A "Fishing group", A "Coffée shop group", and two
different "girl talk groups". Our homepage is only avaiable in swedish at the
moment, but we'll translate it as soon as possible. In the meantime you can enjoy the
pictures (there's lots of them), and get your own picture of our youth hostle.
At the moment Peter and Tommy are the ones who are most involved in the Yeti
project.
Here are some facts about us.
Peter
:
I'm 18 years old, and I'm spending a lot of time at home working with my computer.
But I spend a lot of time here at the youth hostle, and when I'm here I play a lot of
floorball, its a fun sport thats quite popular here in Sweden.
I'm studying Natural Science in school, and my favorite subjects are of course those with
computers involved. :)
I like listening to music, and I listen a lot to "techno/rave" but I listen to
other kind of music as well.
Tommy:
Also 18 years old. Will soon tell you all about himself.
The ski trip
A couple of weeks ago 20 kids and 3 leaders went to the swedish mountains. We squeezed our
selves into three mini-vans and of we went. We rented two large cottages in wich we spent
four lively days and nights.
Some
of us on the mountain top enjoying the view and the sun before going down.
After a long day in the pists most of us went into the sauna (a very hot room
where you sweat a lot). After half an hour in the sauna we went outside, and rolled around
in the snow, to cool off.
Late fun. It's easy for a fool to amuse himself.

Some of us didn't sleep at all. Why sleep when you can stay up all night to talk about
life.
