So here is a little space to show you Lapa. I am sure you have seen Lisbon in many tourist books. We enjoyed being in Lisbon together and seeing the tourist scenes but perhaps you will not have seen Lapa before.

Wine making and a harvesting machine. The machine can do the work of 30 people.

The house of the society. You can eat, drink, sing, dance, and much more here.

Here is the cafe, but it was closed for the holidays.

And here the taberna where we lived. It was also closed for the holidays so thanks from the English for the great hospitality.

The village washing machine. Well - not so used now and some of the mad English decided to swim in it on a hot morning...
